The use of alternate needles for drug use

Contact with blood through other means
Semen ( the fluid in semen ) , which contains a small amount of blood
Saliva contaminated with blood also carries a virus

People who are at high risk of hepatitis B virus infection :

Men or women who have multiple sex partners , especially if they do not use condoms
Men who have sex with men
Men or women who have sex with men are infected with hepatitis B virus
People with other sexually transmitted diseases
People who inject drugs with shared needles
People who received a blood transfusion or blood products
People who undergo dialysis for kidney disease
Health care workers who teekena needles or other sharp instruments contaminated with infected blood
Infants born to infected mothers

In some cases , the source of infection is unknown .

You can not get hepatitis B from the following activities :

Person sneezes or coughs on you
hugging someone
shake hands
Breastfeeding your child
Eating food or drinking water with patients
Daily contact ( such as an office or social environment )
